# Taxpayer Status

The **taxpayer status code** (`taxprSttsCd`) tells you whether a taxpayer,
the customer, is active.

| Code | Name | Description |
|------|------|-------------|
| **A** | Active | Active. |
| **D** | Inactive | Inactive. |
